River John Festival Days occurs the last full week of July!
In 1985 River John celebrated its bicentenary with a week long festival. It was such a success that the community decided to make it an annual event.
Events in recent years have included a lobster crate run, cardboard boat race, scrabble walk, music and all manner of food events. You won't go hungry in River John! There is fun for adults and children alike. The week always ends up with a street parade, fireworks and dance.
